The Writing Marathon is becoming a regular BIGSSS Writing Group, meeting every Thursday 8 am to 12 pm in the seminar room 9.3120, starting on November 5.

The idea is simple: a shared space to focus and make writing progress on whatever you’re working on. There is no registration or preparation needed. You can join for the whole morning or just an hour, arrive and leave whenever it suits your schedule.

A few things to know:

• Quiet writing time: Please take conversations outside the room so everyone can concentrate.
• Independent writing: There is no facilitated program or expectation to share your work.
• Room access: Initially, I’ll unlock the room at 8 am. A key box will be available soon so you can let yourselves in during writing hours. I’ll share the access details once it is ready.

You’re very welcome to join, whether you’re working on a paper, a chapter or another writing task! Please bring your own laptop.
